8-Bit Fall/Winter 2022

8-bit F/W 2022. The latest collection continues its emphasis on euphoric nostalgic references by exploring the iconography of today in pop culture. Popular albums, NBA mascots and the trendiest picks of recent high-end footwear releases all made their debut within this F/W 22 collection. The brand was able to translate some of the greatest albums of all time into its traditional 8-bit block appliqué. Albums such as 808’s and Heartbreaks by Kanye West, Nothing Was the Same by Drake, Demon Days by Gorillaz and many more were featured within this capsule. References from each album and artist was kept in mind for inspiration allowing the brand to put its own ironic twist on traditional music/artist merchandise. F/W22 also introduced original animated characters representing popular NBA mascots. Each character is shown wearing a customized jersey within its appropriate team colors. The player’s jerseys played a huge role in the brand’s take on this exploration of everyday apparel. Team spirit was shown through: tri-color flat knit ribs, two-tone double needle stitching, mock jerseys backs of some of the greatest players of all time, chenille embroidered hoodies and home/away split tees. Louis Vuitton and Nike released one of the biggest collaborations of the year. F/W22 used new advanced digital technology to be able to embody these iconic silhouettes and textures to represent some of the most sought-after merchandise today. The brand introduced new artisanal hand painted finishes within this capsule, using the vibrant colors showcased in the sneakers to give a unique twist on traditional streetwear. This collection truly contains something for everyone, covering a wide range of interests and sticking true to the brand’s celebratory mission.

Additionally this season an exclusive kid's capsule was created representing Mirokami meets emojis. The brand was able to put its own twist onto the iconic flower graphic using classic everyday emojis. New pastel colors are introduced into the collection to endure various different options for children, making the fall/winter a little brighter than usual!
