MOSTLY HEARD RARELY SEEN F/W 2022. The latest collection explores the importance of keeping in touch with our roots and traditions past today's modern day technological advances. Through F/W22, the brand took inspiration from within, getting in touch with its background and choosing to take on the season the old fashioned way. The collection introduces artisanal hand painted finishes crafted by local art students in Japan making each offering a custom one-off. F/W22’s emphasis on custom-hand crafted techniques and treatments carries through within our extremely distressed french terry pullover hoodies as well as our custom ribs and trims. Through our local textile sourcing in the heart of Osaka, Japan, the collection offers many new unique vintage fabrications such as Japanese selvedge cotton camouflages and sun-dried nylons to help pay homage to our Japanese roots and origin. While continuing our DNA in silhouette manipulation, F/W22 offers classic vintage military style silhouettes fused with modern day Japanese mens streetwear. Some of these offerings include our Kimono Robe Overcoat that consists of a classic kimono style lapel fused with a robe/overcoat silhouette and our M65 Zip Up Hoodie that hybrids a traditional M65 outer shell silhouette with a french terry-zip up hoodie. The brand’s cut me up style DNA is also carried through within woven shirts, pullover hoodies and shorts this season testing out new cut seams and mix of fabrications. The brand explores a new direction of subtle branding through our tonal orbit embroideries, subtle all over water-based prints, and spinning our own take on vintage movie poster graphics. As the brand continues to evolve and grow, FW22 is. clear indication that Mostly Heard Rarely Seen will always stay true to its tradition, identity and DNA.
